100 year old plus, used 4/4 Stainer copy violin. Made in Germany. One piece maple back and sides with a well aged spruce top. Deep red brown varnish finish. Jacob Stainer was the earliest and best known Austrian and Germanic luthier. His violins were sought after by famous 17th and 18th century musicians and composers. Excellent playability and sound quality. A exquisite instrument at this price.
